AlcoMate Plus Alcohol Breathalyzer

The AlcoMate Plus professional alcohol breathalyzer is a U.S. DOT approved precision alcohol detector which employs an advanced integrated *MEMS microchip gas sensor. The AL5000 measures your blood alcohol content within a range of 0.00% to 0.40% BAC, in .01% increments with .01% or 10% accuracy at 0.10% BAC.**

Unlike alcohawk, The AlcoMate Plus is equipped with a user replaceable pre calibrated sensor module. It eliminates the need for periodic calibration which requires the unit to be sent in to ASD routinly.  The field replaceable sensor provide the device readiness needed in all critical applications such as those on board of vessels as recommended by the US Coast Guard.  The AlcoMate Plus guarantees device readiness and compliance for coast guard requirements.

	Do it yourself Calibration One of the main problems with using breathalyzers in critical applications is that the alcohol sensor, no matter what type, requires periodic re-calibration. Unfortunately, the re-calibration process requires that the breathalyzer be physically mailed or taken to a professional service center, at which point the device must be evaluated and proper steps must be taken for calibration with an expensive simulator system. The process is costly for both consumer and service center, and the delay in processing and shipping back-and-forth can be quite a loss.
