Like any other analytical instrument, breathalyzers
require periodic calibration to ensure their accuracy. Our
pre-calibrated and field replaceable sensor module is a patent
pending technology built in our new generation of breathalyzers
that has resolved all problems and complications arising from
otherwise existing calibration processes.
Calibration of a breathalyzer is a compensation
for deviations in a sensor parameters due to contamination
and aging. The calibration process does not remove contamination
but it makes up for any deviation of BAC step thresholds from
previously calibrated levels.
Our experience has shown that multiple calibrations
of the same semiconductor sensor eventually leads to failure
and sensor replacement is required. This has been the main
problem with using breathalyzers in critical applications.
Unfortunately, the calibration process requires that the breathalyzer
be physically mailed or taken to a professional service center,
at which point the device must be evaluated and proper steps
must be taken for calibration with an expensive breath alcohol
simulator system. The process is costly for both consumer
and the service center, not to mention the delays involved
in processing and shipping back-and-forth that can be quite
a loss.
The pre calibrated and field replaceable sensor
module has eliminated delays and complications of the calibration
process by allowing users to simply "snap out" an old sensor
module and "snap in" a new module. Restoring a reliable, accurate
testing unit takes only a matter of seconds and it only costs
$29.95 for each sensor module. This will restore the unit
back to its condition as new from the factory. |
