This unit worked well for three years - jump started 4-5 vehicles during that time. It had not been used in the last 6 months. When I pulled it out to check the level of charge, it had swelled to the point of splitting the case. When I called Schumacher customer service, I was told that you shouldn’t keep it in the car! What good is a battery you can’t keep with you? Even though it’s a good brand, I cannot recommend this product.
