Return Merchandise Authorization

Thank you for purchasing from Advanced Safety Devices, LLC and we regret that you have experienced difficulties with our products.  We are committed to your satisfaction, and will happily process your return or exchange according to our policies, but please follow our procedures.

Determine whether your item is returnable

If you can answer YES to the following 2 questions, you may request for a return authorization number.
  • Merchandise must be complete and in NEW condition, free of dirt, scratches, or defects. If your item is not returnable to stock as a new product, it will not be refundable.
  • You are not returning disposable items such as SafeWay or disposable mouthpieces?  Due to health hazard, these products are not returnable even if they are still in their original packaging.

To ensure proper credit, obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#) by completing the following online form. Do not forget to press the "Submit" button. Within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) you will receive an RMA number. 

IMPORTANT: Before returning any order to ASD, an RMA# must be on the outside of the package preferably on the shipping label.. Again, no return will be accepted without an RMA number clearly marked on the shipping label. Returns without RMA number will be rejected at our receiving dock as an unauthorized return.

When do I receive my refund or exchange?

When we receive your item back, we will carefully inspect it. If your return is found in a satisfactory condition which means "returnable to stock", we will then issue an appropriate credit or process a replacement based on ASD return policy.

Write the Return Merchandise Authorization number on the shipping label and include the following information on a separate sheet:

A. Return Merchandise Authorization Number
B. Your name, shipping address, and your day time telephone number.
C. Model number and description of the product you are returning.
D. Proof of purchase (i.e. A copy of your invoice, email, or your packing slip)

Use UPS, FedEx, or US postal service with a tracking number when shipping the package(s) to the address below:

  • All shipments must be prepaid and insured. ASD will not accept "Freight Collect", nor it will be responsible for packages lost in transit.
  • All returns beyond 30 days of purchase must accompany a $10.00 check to cover return shipping
  • Due to health hazard, disposable devices such as mouthpiece and disposable breath alcohol testers (BreathScans/SafeWay) are not returnable in any situation. No credit will be issued for return of such products. Please help us to comply with FDA regulations.
  • Include a signed copy of this completed form with your return.
  • We will not accept returns with missing items and/or shown to have been heavily used, abused, altered, or broken, whether accidental or intentional.

Returns are processed within 10 days of receipt, and refunds are credited or mailed within 2 weeks of processing. If you are returning items for refund, a 25% restocking fee will be applied to cover our return processing, credit card fees, packing, shipping and other restocking expenses.  But, if you are exchanging the product with same or higher value, we may be able to waive the restocking fee and issue credit toward the purchase of another item. Returned merchandise must be unused and sellable condition. Shipping charges are not refundable.
